Fondant People // Gardener Pop





Here are some pics of the cake topper I made for my Grandads birthday cake a couple of weeks ago. He loved it! I was so happy with it. Making a standing fondant person is hard work, but it's so rewarding when its finished (and it hasn't fallen over!) He is made from coloured fondant with a hardner added, and toothpicks in him to help him stand up. The 'dirt' is made from dried, finally chopped fondant and there is a toothpick down the centre of his spade to help it stand up.

Hopefully I'll have a couple more to do in the next couple of weeks, I love making fondant people!

    Amazing, I have a friend that those work like this and I've tried to play around with fondant and its so hard to do something this detailed. You have skill!

    Oh wow this is amazing! I wish I was good at sugarcraft things like this, but piping icing on cupcakes is as far as my skills go haha.
